Booking policy

We are a small restaurant with 16 seats.
The maximum number of bookings is 6 people.
We kindly request that customers with reservations place orders of at least $65 per person.
The seating is two rotations - Please be punctual to avoid disturbing other guests.

A reminder email will be sent two days before your booking date to finalise your reservation (we may also contact you by telephone). Please note that if we are unable to reach you by midday on the day of your booking and final confirmation cannot be obtained, your booking will be automatically cancelled.

We ask you to enter your credit card details at the time of booking (guarantee fee $20 per person).
This is only a guarantee and the bank status will be pending, but no money will be taken from the card at the time of booking or the meal. Your card details will be released after your meal at the restaurant.

Bookings for 1-4 persons

• Please make your reservation online at the bottom of the page under "Booking for up to 4 persons".
• If you do not receive a booking confirmation email, please contact us.
• Online Booking closed 3pm on the day, After 3pm please call us 042139730 to check availability.

Bookings for 5 or 6 persons

• Advance booking is required.
• Set menus only - Please choose the same set menu for all guests in the same group.
• Please send your booking request via the "Booking for 5 or 6 persons" link at the bottom of the page.

Allergies and dietary restrictions

• Please make sure to inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance, as we will not be able to make changes on the day.
• We will do our best to accommodate any request, but we may have to decline your request if it would interfere with the operation of our small kitchen.
• For guests with serious allergies, cross-contamination is unavoidable in our small kitchen. Please contact us if you have any concerns.

Table priority

• The main dining space is located on the first floor.
• There is a narrow, steep staircase - Please inform us in advance if you have a walking disability.
• Priority for seating on the ground floor is given to guests with reduced mobility and children.

Children

• No children's menu we have.
• When adults order set menus, children under 14 years of age can order from the à la carte menu. In such cases, please order the children's dishes in advance. (Please inform us by email or phone by the day before your reservation date.)

Cancellation policy

• Bookings for 1–4 guests: A cancellation fee will apply for cancellations (including changes to the number of guests) made on the day of the booking after midday, regardless of the reason.
• Bookings for 5 or 6 people: A cancellation fee will apply for any cancellation or change in the number of guests made after final confirmation, regardless of the reason.
• Please make sure to check the cancellation policy with your guests.
• Cancellation fee: A la carte $65/person, group set 'Kaze' $87/person, group set 'Umi' $89/person, 'KIWAMI' course menu $115/person.
